I had no idea what the Jonestown Massacre was until last week. I often mentally merged it with the Johnstown Flood, and didn't realize that a phrase I hear all the time, 'drinking the kool-aid' came from this event, exactly 30 years ago. The mass suicide in Jonestown, Guyana, the crazy svengali Jim Jones that started the cult and all the storied surrounding it constitute the craziest shit I've even seen.  There is too much to say.
